I am a helper, I always have been. So, I think that it’s only natural that I ended up in the helping profession (Counselor/Therapist). I have been working for the past 23 years as a helper in one form or another. And you know what? I love it!!! But why? I believe that helping others is a gift that God has given me. I just like to motivate people and help them see the beauty within themselves. Maybe because when I was coming up I didn’t see beauty in me. Then I had an encounter God, and He showed me that I was beautiful. Then girls meets Paparazzi, and oh I became one of Marissa Jewelry monsters. This jewelry makes me feel good, pretty and ready to take on the world. Little did I know that God would use my selling this jewelry as a platform to also give words of encouragement to His people. So, now I sling bling on the weekends and give a word of encouragement on Monday and Wednesdays. And I am loving the entire ride. Before, Paparazzi, I had every intention of retiring from my good government job in the next 15 years. Welp, dreams change and vision broaden. I am now on a path towards financial freedom that still allows me to be the helper I was born to be!
